LAUREN came to Save Our Scruff in 2023 as a Supplies Manager. But she was no stranger to the rescue world! After 10+ years of experience in rescue, shelters, fostering, doggie daycare, dog training, pet retail and inventory management, Lauren found her perfect fit with Save Our Scruff’s mission. It all led her to where she is today and allowed her to build a network of connections in donations and supplies.
Outside of Save Our Scruff, you can find Lauren hanging out on her boat with friends, or learning new tricks with her three rescue dogs: Fred, Lucy and Norman. Before the dog-rescue world swept her away like a runaway train, Lauren was a full-time archaeologist for nearly a decade, in addition to being a competitive champion level Irish dancer.
