Stephanie found her calling to dog-rescue after a beachside epiphany in Ecuador, where the sight of struggling stray dogs tugged at her heartstrings. She then decided to turn her empathy into action, first as a monthly donor for SOS and eventually converting into a grant writer.

Outside of Save Our Scruff, when Stephanie is not busy flexing her professional muscles in her volunteer role, you can find her hitting the trails with her four-legged companions.

Fun fact: Stephanie and her partner embarked on an epic four-year journey, traversing over 20 countries with their pooches! That's right, Stephanie's furry friends have more passport stamps than most humans!
