“I went into the Spay & Neuter Clinic with an open mind and heart, not knowing what to expect other than being so inspired by Cynthia and wanting to get outside of my comfort zone. As soon as I arrived at the airport and finally met the rest of the team for the first time I knew I made the right decision. One of the most enriching parts of this experience is the people that you will meet. Starting with the immediate SOS team, it is contagious how passionate they all are for the cause and how much dedication they have. Next, our rescue partners in the country where the clinic is - you experience the same warmth and dedication. Finally, meeting the members of the community who participate in the clinic - you are reminded of how love is such a universal language and how much joy animals bring people everywhere. I may have gone for the dogs (and I certainly got my fill of playing with dogs all day), but I came back with a full heart seeing the direct positive impact SOS made on the community and humbled by all the people I met.”
