ZOE came to Save Our Scruff in 2021 as a Scruff Counsellor. After adopting her sweet Manitoba scruff, Burger (formerly Butternut) in 2020, and having an amazing & life-changing experience, she felt inspired to be part of someone else’s dog adoption journey. In her role, she offers all the patience, empathy and commitment she has learned as a high school teacher to help new adopters and their scruffs get set up for success.

Outside of Save Our Scruff, Zoe’s fav things include showing Burger around Ontario with her husband, consuming unnatural amounts of Thai food, playing softball, watching any & all reality TV…and don’t even get her started on her love for dolphins (just thinking about them could make her cry).
