STEPH started with the SOS social team back in January 2023. Steph has always known that her and her partner were going to adopt once they’ve settled into their own space. Through the glowing recommendation of her friend, they submitted a general adoption application and were matched with a northern mix puppy from a big rescue mission in Manitoba –they named him Cole! They couldn’t have been happier and would love to give a huge shout out to the Scruff Counsellors who made it all happen. A year later, they found Cole a little sister –another Manitoba puppy who they named Cola and the rest is happily ever after for their family of four.

Sarah is an English major and through working in publishing, has found her way in the world of social media professionally. Through her freelance work, she’s been able to do all sorts of work with cool brands like GMC Hummer EV or even collaboration with LeBron James and the US team!

During SOS off-hours, you can find Sarah outdoors with her partner and energetic scruffs! If they aren’t on a grand adventure hike, you can likely guess Sarah will be enjoying an old show and video games. Fun fact –Sarah used to be known as a ‘cat person’ having grown up with two cats name Binx and Tiger (she also had a bunny named Tina), but how the times have changed! You can still be sure that she’ll be that person at a house party who you’ve lost to the company of the family pet.
