Marissa came to Save Our Scruff after bidding farewell to her faithful canine companion of 17.5 years. She found herself with a dog-shaped hole in her heart which led her to channel her energy into SOS. As a donor steward, she's made it her mission to dig deep into the hearts of SOS donors and learn more about them and their drive to support SOS.

Outside of Save Our Scruff, you can bet your last kibble that Marissa is working on her passion of building community surrounded by friends and family.
