12 passionate Save Our Scruff team members headed to Mexico this February. There, we’ll be taking part in a spay-and-neuter campaign and visiting our biggest rescue partner, The Doggo Project, and their shelter, Funkytown.

Our main mission on site will be to host a spay and neuter clinic to help reduce overpopulation and unwanted animals that continue to fill our partner's shelter. Secondly, we will be spending time at the Funkytown Shelter and will utilize funds to help feed the dogs, bring back dogs with us, and if able we will also help with fixing up some areas of the shelter. Funkytown is a shelter that regularly houses 250 dogs and 50 cats rescued from the streets of Mexico.
