The warm weather is here, the bike paths are clear, and it’s time to pedal for the dogs both far and near! To kick off the month of June, we’re rolling out the first ever Bark n’ Ride Fundraiser!

One of Save Our Scruff’s very own Event Coordinators, Emilia Melara, and a group of fellow dog lovers are emBARKing on a cycling adventure to help raise funds for SOS! On the weekend of June 11th, they’ll be biking from Toronto to Niagara-On-The-Lake, which is a whopping 140 Kilometres. Not only is this undertaking a friendly reminder to get outside & get active, but they’re also braving the elements to help raise awareness for some of the awesome things that Save Our Scruff has on the go.

If you’d like to support these awesome adventure buddies in their mission, you can donate at the link below (and sharing help too!). All funds raised will go towards upcoming intakes to help safely bring dogs in need to their forever homes here in Canada.

Interested in covering some kilometers yourself? We’re also encouraging everyone to get out and emBARK on your own adventure! Grab your biking partner, fasten those helmets (safety first), and enjoy a pedal in the sunshine. Whether you’re doing it to raise funds, or just to get some fresh air- it’s all part of Bark n’ Ride!
