INTAKE/SUPPLY TEAM

Janice, Intake manager

Are you travelling and want to bring some rescue dogs back with you to give them a second chance at a better life?

Do you have a car and want to help be part of the process to give a rescue a new home? Make sure these furry kids get to their vet checkups or the supplies they need (you know the basics, like food, etc) if they run out?

That’s what I’m here for – connect you with the right people, provide the details you need, to be a flight parent volunteer or transport volunteer. I’ll make sure you have the necessary paperwork, go over any questions you have, and be there to help you through the process, whether it be at the airport with your four paw travelling companions, or filling out paperwork at customs, or getting to the foster with your precious cargo on board.

Sarah, Counsellor & Intake Coordinator

Sarah started volunteering for Save Our Scruff in 2017 as the Application Coordinator, moving up the ranks to the Adoption Coordinator, as well as recently the Adoptions Manager, and is now working as a Scruff Counselor, as well as with our Intake Team as the Intake Coordinator. Sarah works with our rescue partners internationally, and locally to help organize bringing new scruffs into Save Our Scruff care.

Whenever possible, Sarah loves to be involved in other aspects involving Save Our Scruff. One of her many passions is being able to connect with partner organizations; such as shelters, working with our partner rescues out of country, and continuing to build upon these relationships. Sarah also loves participating in our events and getting to know all of our potential adopters!

In her down time, Sarah is continuously learning from her own pups - one of whom is a Save Our Scruff alumni from the Dominican.
